The “Two Guys” campaign has been running since 2004. The premise is to take two improv comedians, Pete and TJ, to Sonic in a car to eat and talk. No scripts. No directors. No film. Just a simple idea that has helped Sonic become the fastest growing fast food restaurant in America. How do we do it? We develop scenarios on 3x5 cards and watch Pete and TJ bring those ideas to life. Each take is fresh and spontaneous. Although Sonic is outspent 6:1 by their competitors, this campaign is #1 in ad awareness.
